Listed below are my daily training rates, commission schedule, and breeding right details for horses that are purchased by me at auction or are sent to me for training.

TRAINING FEES

• Full Training Charge - $100 per day 
• Layups & Yearlings - $45 per day
• Breaking - $65 per day
• Mares & Foals - $35 per day
• 12% of all purse earnings
• Two (2) lifetime annual breeding rights to any colts that are bought and/or trained that enter into Stallion Duty*
• 5% commission when the horse is sold
• Stall Rent - Equal to stable charges
• Blacksmith - Equal to blacksmith's charge
• Dentist - Equal to dentist's charge
• Vanning - Comparable to quality carriers fees
• Lubrisyn, Succeed, CortaFlex, wormers, and other medication supplements - charges will apply depending on market prices and handling of the products

COMMISSION RATES

AUCTION COMMISSIONS:

• 10% of purchase price on each horse that sells for $25,000 or less
• 5% of purchase price on each horse that sells for more than $25,000
• 5% commission when the horse is sold
• Two (2) lifetime annual breeding rights to any colts that are bought and/or trained that enter into Stallion Duty*

PRIVATE PURCHASES:

• 5% of purchase price
• 5% commission when the horse is sold
• Two (2) lifetime annual breeding rights to any colts that are bought and/or trained that enter into Stallion Duty*

FOREIGN PURCHASES:

• 10% of purchase price
• 5% commission when the horse is sold
• Two (2) lifetime annual breeding rights to any colts that are bought and/or trained that enter into Stallion Duty*

PARTNERSHIP MANAGEMENT FEE: 10% of purchase price. I manage all details of the partnership, including contracts, bookkeeping, communication, licensing, silks, etc.

FOREIGN PURCHASES: Travel Expenses Apply And Are Paid For By The Buyer, Unless The Seller And/Or Sales Company Will Compensate For Travel Expenses.

*Lifetime annual breeding rights include both Northern and Southern hemisphere

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We take great pride in the daily care of your horse. McPeek Racing promises to use only high quality boarding, feed and equipment. Our staff focuses upon preparing each horse for a race at a pace that is in their best interest. We will take care of routine tasks such as nominations, licensing, transportation, shoeing, worming, dental, etc. 

I am committed to your horse's success. I will provide to you well researched, expert selection at auction or private sales. You can be assured of full Financial Disclosure of all purchases. I will develop a plan of action that will give your horse the best chance to be in the winner's circle.

Finally, I promise to do everything possible to see that your total racing experience is enjoyable. I hope to see you enjoy some level of involvement in your horse’s career. You are welcome to visit our stables as often as you like. Watching the training of your investment and being around the barn is an exciting part of being in the thoroughbred racing industry.
